30TH BLOG POST!!! WOOOOOO HOOOOOO!!!!!!! PLUS A SHOUT OUT TO GREGOR MENDEL!

  HEY GUYS!!!!! It's an evil murderer who hacked SuperSara's account!!!! HA HA HA!!! Jk, it's me. So today were gonna be learning about.... HEREDITY!! But, before I say anything, GUESS WHAT?!?! guessing..guessing..guessing... got it? IT'S THE SUPERSARASUPERSPECTACULARSUPER3OTHBLOGPOSTOFSCIENCEAWESOMENESS!! YAY! So, I'm gonna make it REALLY good for you guys!! :D

  So... how many of you guys have a brother or sister?? I have both, actually, haha. Do they look like you? I'm... umm... pretty sure they do. That's because you guys have the same genes. I'm gonna start by talking about dominant traits.



Oh my gosh, you do not know how long it took me to do this picture! The all look the same and there face is like "WAPAH!" The little girls face is deformed because that's the only way I could get it. Poor little girl...



  So, as you see, the little girl has brown hair. Her dad had orange (okay,okay, "strawberry blonde") hair, and her mom had brown hair. So why didn't the girl have orange hair? Because brown hair is the more dominant  trait. She still has the orange hair gene, but the brown one just overrules it. There are alot of dominant traits, actually. Curly hair to straight, brown hair and eyes to every other color. Oh yeah, the traits that don't show up are recessive. 

  So, my dad has brown hair, and so does my mom. So how do I have blonde hair? I really don't know how.... but I can guess! My dad probably had a blonde hair gene somewhere that was covered up by a brown haired one. Same with my mom.

  See that guy? His name is Gregor Mendel (thus the title). All this stuff I'm teaching you? Yeah, well he found all this stuff out. Pretty impressive,eh? He used peas. Peas. I''m serious. He bred different kinds of peas and saw which traits showed up. It's pretty cool if you ask me.

Twintuplets

   Hey guys! What's up? SuperSara here helping my good bud Gerald out. Any of you guys have a twin? Well, um, cool if you do! Today were gonna be learning about them. There are three types of twins: Indentical, Fraternal and CONJOINED (DUN DUN DUNNNNNN!!!) Let's learn about them.

Indentical Twins: Indentical twins are basically when two sperm cells hit the egg cell at the same time, make two little bundles of joy. When the two cells mix,they make a new cell. The cell then divides and develops into a fetus (baby). With identical twins, sometimes a fertilized egg will split into two cells that will become fetuses. Since there is only one egg, the two cells have exactly the same genes, making them identical twins. The little fetuses will grow together for 9 months until they're ready to come out. Indentical twins can either be boy,boy or girl,girl.

  Fraternal Twins: Fraternal twins are twins that look about as alike as brother and sister. When there are two egg cells released, and two different sperm cells each fuse with them, that's fraternal twins. They travel together to the uterus, where the two different babies grow together for 9 months. Fraternal babies can either be boy,girl; boy,boy; or girl,girl. Fun fact: Did you know that Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen are fraternal twins?

  Conjoined Twins: Uh-oh. Conjoined twins are not something to celebrate. Conjoined twins are connected at some part of the body. Conjoined twins happen when a developing embryo starts to develop into identical twins, but stops before the separation is complete. Sacry isn't it? Conjoined twins happen with any type of twins.

  Twins are really cool, I wish I had one. Of course, every twin says that there brother/sister really annoys them.  So, Gerald did that answer your question? Hope so! SuperSaraSuperBye!!!!! Later peeps! B )

GERALD: Bonjour! Laissez SuperSara seul! Ou je vais tuer!

Translation: Hey! Leave SuperSara alone! Or I will kill!
EVIL GUY: (weep weep weep) *leaves*
SUPERSARA: Thank you so much! You speak english right?
GERALD: Of course!
